Overview
Gorou's burst creates a field that buffs DEF and Geo DMG based on the number of Geo characters in the party. At 3 Geo characters, he provides the maximum buff including CRIT Rate (C6). Build ER for consistent burst uptime, Gorou needs 200%+ ER.
How to Play
Cast skill for Geo damage and field setup, then burst for the DEF/Geo DMG buff field. Run 3 Geo characters for maximum stacks. Gorou stays off-field after buffing, his field persists. Favonius Warbow helps energy generation.
Optimal Rotation
Zhongli Hold Skill, Gorou Skill, Gorou Burst, Albedo Skill/Burst, Itto Skill/Burst, Itto on-field combo. Reapply Gorou burst when field expires. Stack 3 Geo characters for maximum DEF and Geo DMG buff.
F2P Options
Favonius Warbow or Sacrificial Bow for ER. Husk or Noblesse sets work. Gorou is a 4★, C0 works but C6 is transformative for Noelle mains. Pair with free Geo characters like Ningguang if lacking 5★ Geo.
Common Mistakes
Running fewer than 3 Geo characters wastes Gorou's max buff potential. Too little ER causes buff downtime. Building Gorou for personal DPS over ER and DEF%. Placing burst field off-field where Itto can't benefit.
